Ordering and Shipping Information
General Shipping Information
Orders are shipped from Monday through Thursday during office hours. Delivery days are Tuesday through Friday. Saturday deliveries are available to most locations; a $16 surcharge may be added to your order. We do not deliver on Sundays or Mondays via Federal Express.
If your order is placed after 1:30 pm EST, it will not be processed until the following business day. If you do not choose a delivery date, our system will automatically select the next available date based on the shipping method.
This online boutique delivers within the United States only. If you would like to ship to a different country, please go to La Maison du Chocolat Homepage and select your country of delivery.
We ship using Federal Express. Once the package has left our facility, La Maison du Chocolat cannot assume responsibility for any shipping delays/problems due solely to the shipping carrier. In order to facilitate delivery, you may add additional information such as an apartment, suite, or floor number to your selected delivery address. You may add any other important information, such as leave with a doorman, in the “Additional Information” section.
Shipping costs are calculated after the delivery address has been provided. Shipping prices are based on weight and destination. Please use the "Estimate Shipping and Tax" module located in the "My Basket" section in order to see the shipping methods currently available and rates for your delivery address.
- Shipping within the United States
– Express rates start from $32 for Priority Overnight, $28 for Standard Overnight, $17 Second Day Shipping. Priority Overnight orders are delivered to most locations before 12:00 pm the next day. Standard Overnight orders are delivered to most locations before 8:00 pm. Second Day AM Shipping orders are delivered to most locations in two days by 12:00 pm. Second Day Shipping orders are delivered to most locations in two days by 8:00 pm. Second Day AM and Standard Overnight Shipping may not be available for all locations.
– Ground rates for Manhattan and nearby delivery addresses start from $9 to a business address and $12 to a residential address. These methods are for selected zip codes and for overnight deliveries only.
– Messenger service for same-day delivery in Manhattan is available starting at $19 for a delivery Monday through Friday. Deliveries on Saturdays and Sundays are available starting at $26.
- Shipping to Puerto Rico
–We do not currently ship to Puerto Rico.
We offer complimentary shipping for online orders over $80 for deliveries Tuesday through Friday with Home delivery (1-2 business days) during cooler months, and overs $110 with Express Overnight delivery year-round (except for Hawaii and Puerto Rico). A surcharge of $16 may apply if you require a Saturday delivery.
For Chocolate Circle members, we offer 50% off of shipping fees (applies to any delivery methods currently available) year-round for online orders over $80.
Our online boutique shipping promotions apply to web orders only and are valid per shipping address for a delivery within the USA only. If you experience difficulties while placing an order on our online boutique, please contact our Customer Service at (718) 361-9161.
Available delivery options vary during warmer months. From May through September, we can only ship via Standard Overnight or Priority Overnight with FedEx. Home Delivery, Ground and Second Day options will not be available.
New-York Same Day Delivery
We offer same-day delivery in many areas of Manhattan from Monday to Saturday, from $19 to $25 regarding the area. Orders in Manhattan can be delivered by a messenger service for same-day delivery or you can choose a later date.
Orders placed between 9am and 1pm EST are delivered before 5:30pm. Orders placed after 1pm EST will be delivered before 1pm the next day. Saturday Delivery is available for an additional fee of $10.
If you are not available upon order delivery, your order will be returned to our Boutique and our customer service team will contact. Your Same Day Delivery fee is nonrefundable and will not be applied to any additional delivery services.
Saturday deliveries are available for the following shipping methods:
– Priority Overnight – for orders placed before Friday 1:00 pm EST.
A $16 surcharge may be added to your order.
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we ship our chocolates using Federal Express Priority Overnight to warm climates. We also include special packaging to keep the products cool, at no extra cost to our clients.
During cooler periods, we provide Standard Overnight, Second Day and Second Day AM Shipping to select states.
Please note that due to fluctuating temperatures, La Maison du Chocolat cannot always guarantee shipping options other than Priority Overnight.
Deliveries during any holiday are based on Federal Express business hours.

The only boxes available for customization are the Coffret Maison series. The customized box will be charged by weight ($135.00 per pound). Please allow two to three days for La Maison du Chocolat to complete your customized order. We want to create a special tasting experience for every recipient of a La Maison du Chocolat gift. We never include receipts or pricing information in our packages. Clients receive their receipts by email. You may also choose to include a complimentary customized message card with your order.
If, for any reason, you or your recipient is not completely satisfied, please contact our Customer Service at (718) 361-9161. Kindly have your confirmation number ready. If you do not have a confirmation number, please provide us with the name on the credit card and the delivery date.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification with your tracking number. You may track your order at any time on the FedEx website. The tracking number is also available in the space "MY ACCOUNT" - "MY ORDERS".
