General Shipping Information
Shipping days are from Monday through Thursday during office hours. Delivery days are from Tuesday through Friday. If you require a Saturday delivery, then please call client services at 718.361.9161. There will be a $15 surcharge added to your order. Please note that Federal Express does not provide Saturday delivery to all zip codes. We do not ship or deliver on Sundays.
If your order is placed after 3pm EST, then it will not be processed until the following business day. If you do not choose a delivery date, our online boutique will automatically select the next available date. La Maison du Chocolat cannot guarantee the correct delivery date if your preferred date is not selected in the “Choose your Delivery Day” section.
This online boutique delivers within the United States only. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not ship to Puerto Rico at this time. If you would like to ship to a different country, please go to La Maison du Chocolat Homepage and select your country of delivery.
We ship using Federal Express. Once the package has left our facility, La Maison du Chocolat cannot assume responsibility for any issues due solely to expedition. In order to facilitate delivery, please provide any apartment, suite, or hall number in your selected delivery address. You may add any other important information, such as drop off to a doorman, in the “Additional Information” section.
Shipping costs are calculated after the delivery address has been provided. Rates start from $22 for Priority Overnight, $18 for Standard Overnight, and $11 for Second Day Shipping. Rates for Manhattan delivery start from $15 for Priority Overnight or Messenger, $11 for Standard Overnight, and $10 for Second Day Shipping. Priority Overnight orders are delivered to most locations before noon the next day. Standard Overnight orders are delivered to most locations before 7pm. Second Day Shipping orders are delivered to most locations in two days by 7pm. Shipping prices are based on weight and destination. Second Day Shipping may not be available for all locations. Shipping methods do not take unexpected weather delays into consideration, which may affect delivery timelines, ship dates and delivery dates.
We offer complimentary year-round overnight shipping for online orders over $120.
For Chocolate Circle members, we offer 50% off of Standard Overnight Shipping (applies to Priority Overnight if only Priority Overnight is available) year-round for online orders over $75.
Our online boutique shipping promotions apply to web orders only and is valid per shipping address. If you experience difficulties while placing an order on our online boutique, please give client services a call at 718.361.9161.
Any deliveries in Manhattan may be delivered by a messenger service for same-day delivery or at a later date. You may also arrange for a pick-up, free of charge, from one of our Manhattan boutiques.
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we ship our chocolates using Federal Express Priority Overnight in warm climates. We also include special packaging to keep the products cool, at no extra cost to our clients.
During cooler periods, we provide Standard Overnight and sometimes Second Day Shipping to select states.
Please note that, because of fluctuating temperatures, La Maison du Chocolat cannot always guarantee shipping options other than Priority Overnight.
Deliveries during any holiday are based on Federal Express business hours.

The only boxes available for customization are the Coffret Maison series. The customized box will be charged by weight. Orders as Gifts
We want to create a special tasting experience for each La Maison du Chocolat gift sent. To preserve the gift component, we do not include our receipts in our packages. Clients receive their receipts by email. You may opt to include a complimentary customized message card with your order.
If, for any reason, you or your recipient are not satisfied, you may call client services at 718.361.9161. Kindly have ready your confirmation number. If you do not have a confirmation number, please provide us with the name on the credit card and the delivery date.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking notification email from Federal Express. You may track your order at any time on the FedEx website.
