An Egg shell filled with a delicious dark praline!
La Maison du Chocolat buys eggshells that have been emptied and rinsed with water manually. The transparent film that covers the inside of the shell is torn off manually.
The shells are then dried in the oven for 15 minutes at 90 ° C which can be sterilized.\No chemicals are used.\The empty shells are shipped to La Maison du Chocolat in cells identical to cells used for whole eggs.
The filling of shells is done in 2 steps entirely manual.
- Step 1: the egg is filled with chocolate and then gutted the chocolate layer is dried.
- Step 2: the praliné of La Maison du Chocolat is paid to the pastry bag into the shell.
A patch is placed on top of the egg to hide the hole.

Dark chocolate contains : Cocoa solids 58% minimum. Milk chocolate contains : Cocoa solids 37% minimum - Milk solids : 26% minimum
